The carbon approach
The proposed service uses the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and, where applicable, its Scope 3 Standard. UK activity calculations use suitable UK Government conversion factors published by DESNZ, matched to the activity and reporting period.
Each calculation should retain its input, unit, factor, source, year/version, scope/category and result. Estimates, exclusions and limitations are recorded alongside the findings.
Referring to a standard or factor dataset does not mean Element Rise is certified, endorsed or independently verified by its publisher.
